For a quick and easy to use field edge when you're out in the middle of nowhere. Both models use micro carbon carbide sharpening blades placed at 60º included angle, which you draw the knife edge/blade through to put an effective field edge on. The large model features a ceramic honing surface for a quick smooth edge.
